Twentieth Sunday in Ordinary Time

John 6:51-58

How do we deal with a loss of spiritual, life-giving energy? Physical tiredness is one thing. Spiritual/soul exhaustion is another. How do we handle those interior struggles, guilt, discouragement, frustrations, feelings of inadequacy, health concerns, loss of a job, and family stresses? What do we do when love and patience get tired and seem to disappear from our life? How do we continue to be filled with the Holy Spirit as Paul reminds us? Where do we get the energy to always be kind, compassionate and forgiving? The answer: “…the one who feeds on me will have life because of me.”
