Twenty-Third Sunday in Ordinary Time

Mark 7:31-37

In this brief passage we have so much to learn from Jesus regarding our dealings with one another. What about our relationships with people? How many times we are gruff, insensitive, downright nasty, making people ill at ease and embarrassed. Are we concerned about being correct and known for our accuracy in all things, or are we more concerned about being considerate of the ones we serve? Do we pray for others especially those who cannot pray? Are we authentic followers of Jesus?
