Twenty-Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time

Mark 10:2-16

So what does it mean, “to accept the kingdom of God like a little child?” Maybe we need to ask a further question, “what is the kingdom of God” that Jesus asks us to accept as a little child? St. John Paul II in his encyclical Redemptoris Missio said the kingdom of God is not a concept, a doctrine, or a program, but it is before all else a person with the face and name of Jesus of Nazareth, the image of the invisible God, who embodied truth and life, holiness and grace, justice, love and peace.
