Twenty-Eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Mark 10:17-30

Based on this story, one main ingredient to enter the Kingdom of God is humility. We need one another, we need to share our life with one another not only when it is convenient for us but when the needs of others demand it, knowing that we are all created in God’s image and likeness not only those of us who keep the Commandments and all the laws and rules. There is no true holiness without humility. Humility is the gateway through which we approach the inner courts of the kingdom. Those who know God are always humble; those who do not know God are invariably quite sure of themselves.
