Luke 11:1-4

To truly understand the words of Jesus’ prayer in today’s Gospel is to approach prayer as a connection between the compassion of God and the love we experience in our lives, between God’s forgiveness and the forgiveness we extend, between the holy creativity of God. Let this day be a day of prayer for each of us. In every moment, may we embrace the spirit and attitude of prayer that actively seeks out and gratefully celebrates God’s presence in all things.
