Dedication of the Lateran Basilica

John 2:13-22

Today is the feast of the mother church of Christendom, the Basilica of St. John Lateran. Through the Holy Spirit may the sense of the sacred be strengthened in our hearts, that we will honor and cherish all that is holy. We are temples of the Holy Spirit, we are the Church. May this same zeal consume us in our ministry, in our commitment to one another as the Body of Christ.
