Solemnity of Christ the King

John 18:33-37

Christ the King has been with us for 2,000 years. Pilate is completely out of the picture. His only claim to fame as a king is that he met Jesus. The truth which Jesus proclaims, we must proclaim in our world today. We, too, must testify to the truth and the world while our government is trying its best to snuff out the truth, the truth that every human being from conception to natural death has the right to life. The truth that every human being deserves respect; the truth that we are created in the image and likeness of God; the truth that all people are children of God. We need to testify to this truth in our world today.
