Thirty-Second Sunday in Ordinary Time

Mark 12:38-44

This gospel message can be very appropriate for all of us today. It is a great opportunity for all of us to ask the question, why do I do what I do? What are my motives for doing works of charity?  What are my motives for spending time in prayer? What are my motives for the way I treat others? We can so easily slip into the pattern of the scribes since we all like to be recognized for the good we do. It is innate in us as human beings.
