John 15:18-21

As followers of Jesus Christ where do we fit in, in this world. Are we controversial figures? Do we speak out on behalf of truth or do we just go along with the crowd? Does our life contradict the standards set by this world? Are we swayed by the attitudes which this world promotes or are we led by the beatitudes of the Kingdom of God? Do we float downstream with the crowd or do we swim against the current? My friends, we are followers of Jesus Christ.  We are called to be witnesses of his life in today’s world.  If it is not challenging and painful then we are not doing the job we are supposed to be doing.
