John 17:1-11

Most times when you and I speak about faith, it will be about the importance of our having faith in Jesus Christ. In the gospel today we see the reverse. The gospel reminds us that Christ had tremendous faith in all of us. It might seem incredible that He should place so much faith and trust in us. What is even more overwhelming is that Jesus knows us better than we know ourselves.  His faith in us is based on a thorough knowledge of us. And in spite of all our sins and short comings he still places his trust and his faith in us.
