Ascension of the Lord

Mark: 16:15-20

Among the first words of Jesus was “Come, follow me.”Today we hear the opposite: “Gointo the whole world and proclaim the good news.”Today’s feast carries with it a responsibility for all of us. To make disciples of all nations we must do our best to live the gospel because we may be the only Gospel some people will ever read. People are observing us and our behavior. Will what they see in us cause them to make a change in their lives?
