Mark 10:17-27

In today’s gospel a rich young aristocrat comes running to a poor man and asking the poor man for what he has. Here was a man who supposedly had everything that money can buy yet there was something missing in his life and he noticed that this poor, itinerant carpenter from Nazareth had what he wanted – the secret to eternal life – peace! The rich man envied the poor man’s quality of life.
