St. Vincent de Paul – Pray for us! – 

According to Jesus, discipleship is a way of powerlessness. God is not interested in how much power we have; God is interested in how we powerlessly do God’s will by serving others as St. Vincent de Paul. Jesus makes it very clear when he teaches that anyone who wants to be first has to begin by being last and the servant of all. Who are the greatest among us today? Only God knows. But those posing for a stained-glass window are not likely to get one.
