Commemoration of Our Faithful Departed. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord. – 

Our Faith and today’s Gospel reassure us that we are cared for by a God of wisdom, companionship and a God of love. It speaks of three things that enable us to face the fact of death without fear; faith in God, faith in Jesus Christ and the promise of life everlasting. Today let us put our faith into action by praying for the souls of our faithful departed and entrusting them to our loving God of mercy. May they rest in peace.
