The First Martyrs of the Holy Roman Church – 

Do we become satisfied with the status quo? Are we satisfied the way we are at this moment in our relationship with God? Is there room for improvement? When God initiates a change for the better in our life, do we resist because we know what we have but are afraid of the unknown even though it might be better for us. I wonder how often we have begged God not to disturb our lifestyle, our conscience.  We pray, Lord I want to be better, but not yet.
