Nativity of St. John the Baptist –

We might not be as unusual as John, living in a desert and eating locusts and wild honey, or clad in camel’s skin. But John was simply being himself and we are reminded today to be ourselves in being heralds of the great King. Simply by being who we are, we let Christ’s presence in us shine out to others. We need to be creative in using the gifts and talents God has given us as heralds of the great king.
