So much of our worry stems from a sense of our own inadequacy. The first followers of Jesus must have experienced similar problems and anxieties. Jesus simply reminded them of the presence of God. He directed their attention to nature, the birds and the flowers. If God takes care of them, will he not provide much more for you?  Jesus is reminding us that we are not in this alone.
