St. John Damascene

Luke 10:21-24

Jesus is calling out to us to focus on the beauty and the advantages and opportunities of this day. Granted there are other things today that I would prefer to glory in but this day will have its own uniqueness and blessings. Each twenty-four hours God offers me a new day like a blank page. Each day has good moments but the best moment of all is the present moment that I can fill with serious and positive thoughts, thoughts of joy and optimism, thoughts of peace for myself and for others.
