Numbers 21:4-9
Does God promise adequacy, food that will meet our needs or an abundance, food that will satisfy our desires? It is clear from the Hebrews’ exodus experience that God will provide for his people. He will meet their needs. No one will suffer because of a lack of God’s care and concern. However, God does not promise to provide a five-star restaurant for the people’s pleasurable dining experience each day. We need to evaluate our own expectations of the Providence of God and quit our complaining.
