Thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time,
Luke 9:51-62

Some Christians get upset by Atheists. But when you think about it, prejudice contradicts the Christian faith more blatantly than Atheism ever could. So how we manage the pain of rejection, and the pain of disappointment will determine how faithful we are to our calling. Jesus summed it up so well: “Whoever puts his hand to the plow but keeps looking back is unfit for the reign of God.”
