Easter Sunday

Luke 14: 1-12

Easter Sunday is the high point of the church year. Easter is the center of our faith. St. Paul puts it this way, “If Christ has not been raised from the dead, then our faith is empty, senseless.” Easter is indeed a celebration of God’s love for us and I hope we realize how much God loves us, a God who created us in God’s own image and likeness. We are all pilgrims on life’s journey. We all have our faults and failings. We are all in the process of becoming what God intends us to be. None of us is a finished product and so we continue each day with life’s blessings and challenges never giving up knowing that we are God’s children.
