Saints Marcellinus and Peter
Pray for us
John 17:20-26

Jesus had a different concept of prayer. He prayed in ways that made sense. It was an integrated part of his life. He did not ask for any favors and if he did, he prefaced it with “Not my will but thine be done.” For Jesus, prayer was an affirmation of his faith, he expressed the desire of his heart, and his prayer released an energy for others.
