Easter Sunday

John 20:1-9

What does Easter mean to us? Many people think that Easter is primarily a message about life after death. Many see it as an assurance of immortality, as a kind of guarantee that we will continue to live on the other side of the grave. That concept of Easter is true, as far as it goes. The problem is, that concept of Easter falls short of where all of us are living right now. Easter reminds us in our everyday life that we can depend on that same faith that Jesus had in his Father. Let every day be a new beginning – Jesus died and is now risen. Alleluia.
